Mobility scooters for older people
Folding and longer-range mobility scooters, no licence or number plate needed: try them in our Varese shop, with home delivery. Also to rent.

Going out on your own again, to the shops or the square
A mobility scooter is for people who walk little or tire quickly but still want to get about on their own: to the market, to see the grandchildren, to the café with friends. It is safer than a bicycle and costs far less than a car. In our shop at Via Crispi 130 in Varese you will find folding scooters that fit in a car boot and longer-range scooters for people who go out every day.

Folding or longer range?
A folding scooter comes apart into a few pieces without tools and fits in a car boot: it is for people who want to take it on holiday or to their children’s. A longer-range scooter goes further on a charge and is for people who use it every day for errands. Both go at walking pace near people and reach 8 km/h; they are steered with a handlebar and a lever, with no pedals.

Delivered home, explained without hurry
The scooter arrives at your home in our van: the technician shows you how to drive it, how to charge the battery and where to keep it, and takes you for your first ride. If you would rather find out first whether it suits you, it can be rented by the day or by the month.

No: mobility scooters are classed as mobility aids, not vehicles, so no licence or number plate is needed. They are used on pavements and in pedestrian areas, at walking pace near people. We still recommend third-party liability insurance.
It depends on the model: of the ones we stock, the folding scooter covers about 16 km and the longer-range one about 38 km, both up to 8 km/h and on slopes of up to 10.5%. Hills, weight and cold reduce the range.
