Braces, compression stockings and footwear
Wrist, elbow, knee and ankle braces, graduated compression stockings and medical footwear: tried on and measured at the Cocoon shop in Varese.

Support where you need it, comfortable to wear all day
After a sprain, surgery or with arthritis, a well-chosen brace eases pain and brings back confidence in moving. Graduated compression stockings help the circulation of people with swollen, heavy legs. In our shop at Via Crispi 130 in Varese you will find braces for arms and legs, compression stockings and comfortable footwear for sensitive feet: you try them, we measure, and you choose without hurry.

Braces for arms and legs
For the wrist and hand, elbow, shoulder, knee and ankle. Some immobilise after an injury, others support a painful joint while letting it move. Which one you need is up to your doctor or physiotherapist; we help you try the size and the model that is easiest to put on and take off, on your own too.

Graduated compression stockings
They squeeze most at the ankle and less and less towards the thigh, helping the blood flow back up. They come in compression classes: light, preventive ones for people who stand or sit for hours; therapeutic ones, to be chosen with your doctor, for varicose veins, swelling and after surgery. Measurements are taken in the morning, when the legs are least swollen: ankle, calf, thigh and leg length.

Frequently asked questions
Not for light, preventive compression. Therapeutic classes, however, should be chosen with your doctor, who will specify the right compression class: bring us their instructions and we will take the measurements.
In the morning, when the legs are least swollen: ankle, calf and thigh circumference, plus leg length. A stocking of the wrong size squeezes where it should not or does not compress enough. We take the measurements in the shop.
Yes, and that is the reason to choose it in the shop: a brace that is too tight or slips does not get worn. You try it on, we check it is easy to put on and take off on your own, and if your size is not in stock we order it.
